| It’s a full-on media blitz this week, as the cast of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” are gearing up for the big theatrical release this Friday, October 24th. And on October 21st, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman all stopped by the NBC Studios at Rockefeller Center in New York City for an appearance on the “Today” show. Frenzied fans from all over crowded into the studio and watched through the windows from outside as the Disney hotties fielded questions about themselves as well as the new film. | Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens slip out of Italian restaurant, Pace, on Saturday in Hollywood, on their way to the Chateau Marmont Hotel for Zac’s 21st birthday. The High School Musical sweethearts with fellow wildcat, Corbin Bleu, were heard on BBC’s Radio 1 today, dishing it up with DJ Annie about the highs and lows of becoming and being international stars. When asked what the craziest thing they’ve been asked to sign, Zac replied, “Sign my baby!” Source: Just Jared

| Fresh off of the big Los Angeles premiere of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year," Zac Efron and friends headed out in Hollywood to ring in his 21st birthday on Saturday night (October 18). Starting off at Pace nightclub, fellow partygoers included Zac's co-star girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, along with pals Monique Coleman, Ashley Tisdale, Jared Murillo, Brittany Snow, Amanda Bynes, Aly and AJ Michalka and Michelle Trachtenberg. While most guests were spotted upon arrival, dropping off bottles of hard liquor as gifts to their now-legal friend, Efron and Hudgens stayed covered up, not wanting to be seen. After Pace, Zanessa then headed over to Chateau Marmont with Aly and AJ. Funnily enough, the only person showing up at Chateau that was 21 was Zac, as Aly is 19, AJ 17, and Vanessa 19. | Zac Efron drops by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wedneday Oct.15 to hype up the upcoming release of High School Musical 3: Senior Year. The almost-21-year-old turned candy cane red when Leno played a blast-from-the-past clip of Zac. The home video showed a 9-year-old Zac singing and shaking his booty during a kids’ play. Hearing it came from girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, who was on the show last week, Zac joked, “I’m gonna call Vanessa after this.” Somebody’s in trouble tonight! Watch the video below, it is hilarious! | With the October 24 theatrical debut of High School Musical 3: Senior Year just around the corner, the stars have been busy promoting the pop culture phenomenon that is HSM. In the interest of getting out the latest word in a timely manner, we're presenting this excerpt from a new press conference with Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu. We'll have a complete interview posted in the following days, but in the meantime, here's a segment in which they talk about some of the extracurricular activities they enjoyed while filming in Salt Lake City. Enjoy! ------ MEDIA: Aside from filming the movie, what was one of your favorite experiences of being on location in Salt Lake City, Utah? CORBIN: Laker/Jazz game. That was fun, getting to go. Of course, we're Lakers fans. [laughs] Also Jazz fans, of course. They were wonderful to make us feel so welcomed. ZAC: We got courtside seats. CORBIN: We did get courtside seats. But I remember I actually sported the Lakers jersey in the Jazz arena. [laughs] And they invited us on the stage, and I got booed. ZAC: We walked on the court, and he was wearing... [to Corbin] Wasn't it a Kobe jersey? CORBIN: It was a Kobe jersey. ZAC: He was wearing a Kobe jersey, and the Utah arena is well known for being like the loudest arena in the state. And actually, Corbin held up his hand. It was kind of awesome, but he got booed off the court. [laughs] CORBIN: But what was great was yesterday, I actually got a chance to work with Magic Johnson, and I also saw [Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic].
