Caras Islands Vacation // 09 Feb 2009
It was a good weekend for Zac and Vanessa! The couple went to the Caras islands for a mini-vacation. On February 8th the couple were seen arriving at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and signing autographs. Today, they were spotted arriving at LAX Airport and kissing too. The hid the kissing by the couple's favorite fedora hat! Amazing!
Zac Efron's First Kiss // 08 Feb 2009
Zac Efron opened up to Seventeen Magazine and told them about his first kiss..
“I want to say I was in fifth grade. It was in a tree fort.” Efron, the 21-year-old heartthrob said: “It was over a game of Truth or Dare, but it turned into ‘make out with the other person’.”
Revealing his feeling when he had his first kiss, Efron said he was “pretty shocked”. “I was like the only boy and there were a bunch of girls up there. I was pretty stoked,” The High School Muscial star said.
Zac also told the magazine that he had a crush on Tyra Banks.
“Growing up, it was Tyra Banks. She was the first poster I had on my wall,” he said. “I had it on my ceiling! And I had a bunk bed, so she was, like, really close. It was the famous purple bathing suit shot.” And his favorite film is “Sleepless in Seattle“. “I love that movie. I saw it when I was younger and thought it was really cool,” Zac added.
With all the Twilight/Edward Cullen/Rob Pattinson craziness, we kinda forgot about that other teen idol who's not a sparkling vampire.
It must be rough for Zac Efron going from Troy Bolton (tween charmer and No. 1 Basketball Player in the World) to placing second after the magical-haired, English-accented dreaminess that is Rob Pattz.
But somehow Zac is finding the strength to carry on despite his slightly fallen teen-dream status, as evident here in his brand new 17 Again poster.
Sure, Rob already did the cool dude with the sunglasses and jacket thing a little better, but we owe Zac a chance to prove he was there spreading adolescent joy and happiness long before Twilight and its Hot Topic emo-ness.

Sypnosis The 21-year-old actor stars as the young version of Mike O’Donnell, a star athlete headed straight for a college scholarship when he decides to give it up to settle down with his high school girlfriend Scarlett. Twenty five years later, an adult Mike (Matthew Perry) finds his life is not exactly what he expected. He is separated from his wife, Scarlett (Leslie Mann) and living with his best friend Ned Freedman (Thomas Lennon).
Mike gets a chance to rewrite his life and goes back to high school to finish the life he never had the chance to live. But in trying to recapture his best years, Mike could lose the best things that ever happened to him.

No, he told me I didn’t have to be his age — all I had to be was single! I don’t think he minds an older woman. We were joking around, of course. Zac has a girlfriend (Vanessa Hudgens). I have a husband that I love very much. It was cute. We were having fun.”
Zac, 21, revealed to the music channel that he loves playing an adult. He shared, “I could have gone out and just played a kid somewhere and had a blast. But now I’m playing a 40-year-old guy. It’s kind of fun playing an adult.”

Zac Efron keeps it cool in his signature straw fedora as he arrives at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon. Personally, I have no idea why he was at the airport, because he already had returned from Japan, so I'm very curious about that.
Zac seems to love this particular fedora. He was seen with it back in 2007 while promoting Hairspray in New York City and this past summer while on vacation in Turks and Caicos. (Source:Just Jared)
The Couple has Opposite Styles! // 02 Feb 2009
TV host and Los Angeles interior designer Kenneth Brown has taken on the task of designing 'High School Musical' stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens' homes -- but he may have his work cut out for him considering he says their styles are "completely opposite."
"If they ever get married, they'll have to have separate houses. He's very modern and she's very traditional," Brown tells the Chicago Tribune.
Brown says his personal interior style is "smack dab in the middle of [Efron and Hudgens]."
On Friday Morning, Zac and Vanessa arrive at LAX Airport after their trip to Japan to promote High School Musical. The couple was seen walking side-by-side! (cute!) Below is a video of Zac and Vanessa at Tower Records in Japan. When Zac was asked on his favorite Disney character he said, "Goofy," but quickly changed it to Aladdin when Vanessa said hers was, "Jasmine." Zac and Vanessa Hudgens are enjoying their trip to Japan. First they are seen bowing to each other in front of a shrine in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday. They also visited the popular Tsukiji fish market and went on a sushi date! On Wednesday night, they arrived at the High School Musical 3 premiere in Tokyo! Below is a video of them at the premiere.
